Bobo's Big Break FAQ 

What’s the goal? 

Your objective is to reach a target score before your Balance Meter depletes. Points are earned by playing tricks that impress the crowd - but push your luck too far, and you’ll go Off-Balance! 

How do I earn points? 

Each trick card played earns points based on:

• The trick's point value
• The number of tricks played this turn (combo multiplier)
• Your current audience size (bigger crowd = more points)

What are the trick types?

• Basic (Tan) - Earn a moderate number of points and often lowers your Balance Meter, helps to gain a smaller number of audience members
• Balanced (Blue) - Help to reset your Balance Meter. Scores low or no points and won't add much to your audience. Also helps to re-orient yourself when you're Off Balance
• Daring (Red) - Flashy, high-scoring tricks that are certain to draw a crowd. However, they come with an inherent downside of having a higher likelihood of forcing you Off Balance

Your repertoire (deck) will be randomly generated each time you start the game with a certain number of each trick type

How do I maintain balance? 

Basic and Daring tricks lower your Balance Meter but offer stronger point or audience returns. Balanced tricks restore your meter and are the only type that cannot make you go Off-Balance — but they offer fewer points and less crowd appeal. 

How do I gain Audience? 

Audience members are earned by playing more tricks, especially Daring ones. The more risk you take — including playing with a high Off-Balance chance or playing multiple Daring tricks in a turn — the faster your audience grows. Balanced tricks, while safe, offer minimal audience appeal. 

What happens when I go Off-Balance? 

Each trick played in a turn increases your chance to go Off-Balance — especially Daring tricks. If you go Off-Balance:

• Your balance costs are doubled
• You’ll move slower during the audience phase
• Only Balanced tricks can remove the Off-Balance state

What is happening when I click end turn?

The audience is not pleased with your performance and are trying to encourage you to do better! The larger the audience the more they will have to say! Avoid their criticisms by moving with WASD. Be careful, the longer you take to finish a round the more damage they will deal.
